The German has expressed his disappointment with his current situation at Arsenal and has hinted that he could move away from the club in the January Transfer Window.
The Arsenal striker was speaking at a press conference ahead of the national side’s European Championship qualifier against Gibralatar and was asked about his lack of first team football with Arsenal.
“Of course I am not happy with my situation right now,” he said. “I can’t be satisfied with that. It is hard when you can’t do what you love.
When asked whether his current form was the issue Podolski responded:
“If you only come in for 8 or 10 minutes it is hard to get into the game. If you can’t play then you can’t say he’s not playing well or he has a crisis if you’re not given the chance.”
When questioned why he thought he's been sidelined the German replied: “I don’t know why that is, you’d have to ask my coach in England.”
