Oh how beautiful does it feel to be here, 7 points clear and a team that's talent is exceeding expectation, but who is to be held responsible for this seasons great progress?
The players, the manager, the coaching staff, the fans? I'd say the most important influence among Arsenals recent success has to be put down on the maturity of the squad and the modest approach that is being taken before every game. Whether it’s a cold night in the Westfalenstadion or a trip down to Cardiff every player now knows that there is no room for mistakes and if anyone is playing under expectation then they will have to face the facts that now at this growing club it is not acceptable to go into a game and underestimate the opponents.
Now where do we go from here, an amazing start and for once a team that's always improving with the likes of Podolski returning along with Theo getting back into the mist of things, as a club do they plan big for January and make another star singing or do they try to retain the talent they have like in previous seasons Arsenal have been determined that the squad they have is good enough. I feel that now more than ever that January is a chance for Arsene to prove that he is still the right man for the job and insure that by making a big money signing that will push the team towards the title.
But for now let's not judge and dissect the players we have, as so far they have been impeccable and grown to become some of the best in Europe. So what have we learnt? That great things come to those who wait, let's just look at the team we have now and look how long it’s taken to get here, but now it’s here, I wouldn't change it for the world, it is amazing to know that Arsenal are becoming unplayable down to the pure maturity of the squad.
In conclusion a realistic mind-set the players need to have is that if they ever want to see a trophy in the next decade the best chances lie ahead and this season it is make or break for how Arsenal as a team is seen throughout the world, as champions or as disappointments.
